The Course
Your mini golf adventure starts in the Skatepark as we “Drop in” to Hole 1, then we’re off to “Kenny’s Speedway” where you can try the ultimate loop da loop. Hopefully we don’t end up in the “Dog House” too long after we go to “The Pub”, all ages are welcome !
You’ll need all your skill to complete “Dolly The Daredevil’s” death defying jump and you can even try for a STRIKE on our “World Of Bowling” Hole.
No trip to Portal Mini Golf would be complete until we managed to time travel to the 80’s play our favourite arcade games and take a trip through a “Stranger” forest !
It’s a bit mad, but then that’s why you will love it, don’t forget to get plenty of selfies for Instagram, the best photos each week win a free round of golf.

- Do you offer adult party packages for crazy golf as well?
- Yes! You can find the full details of our adult parties here. Our adult parties are specifically for groups of adults over 18 years of age and have options for golf, alcohol, pizza and ten pin bowling.
- About 1 and a half hours including the food, may overrun.
Portal Golf – Kids Parties
Portal Mini Golf is perfect for your child’s birthday party, a special occasion, or just entertaining children in Edinburgh. Our kids crazy golf party package includes a full round of mini golf, fantastic party food choices including freshly prepared Stone Baked pizzas and a dedicated party room for the kids and parent(s).
Kids Party Package

- Dedicated party room to provide space for eating, drinking and entertaining while playing crazy golf.
Our mini golf party package caters for children ages 6 to 13. We don’t provide a specific party package for kids over the age of 13, just book a round (or two!) of crazy golf online or phone us for a great day or night out.
Our kids party package is available all year round and suitable for birthdays at any time of the year. If booking more than a month in advance please use our contact form or call us on 0131 443 0404. If your child’s birthday is closer then please just phone and we’ll help you get your child’s birthday party booked and arranged.
Booking Times

We recommend having at least 2 parents present during the party.
Birthday Cakes
Due to the introduction of Natasha’s law (the UK food information amendment) for allergens, we have had to implement some conditions for bringing in birthday cakes for parties.
Any birthday cake, cupcakes or party celebration cakes brought into our venue must be a shop bought cake in a box or a cake by a reputable baker/cake maker with the following information attached:

Who we are
Based within World of Bowling, Portal Golf is a pop culture and arcade game inspired mini crazy golf course in the heart of Edinburgh. We have a full 18 hole mini golf course, which is suitable for all ages and mini golfers of all skill levels. We have a pizzeria for fresh stone baked pizzas on site to keep you fed and refreshed while you play mini golf. Ten pin bowling is also available if you’re looking for more things to do on the day.
Why we’re here
We opened Portal Golf in 2021 as the UK began to open up after the COVID-19 pandemic as a place for people to enjoy a fun family day out in Edinburgh after repeated lockdowns.
Looking to visit us for some mini golf? We’re conveniently located nearby the iconic Edinburgh Corn Exchange venue, now O2 Academy with nearby bus stops (4 and 44) and we’re only a 2 minute walk from Slateford Train Station, which is on the Glasgow Central line.
